Next up I was tagged by the fabulous Caz to do this 8 question tag!

The idea being that you have to answer 8 questions by the person that tagged you and then make up 8 of your own and tag other people to do them. Great idea as you get to learn a little more about people!

My 8 questions from Caz are...

1. What magazines do you read?
I used to buy so many magazines, but when I realised I was spending £300 a year on magazines that had to stop! So now I just buy Company and Glamour.

2. Do you have any pets?
I have a cat called Missy who lives at my Mums house with her brother Smooptz!

3. What is your biggest achievement?
For me my biggest achievement was proving all the teachers at my school wrong! I went to a school where you were constantly told that if you didn't go to university you would basically amount to nothing in life. Well I didn't go to university, but I am now in a job I love and have recently bought my first house, so I think I have done pretty well for myself!

4. If you could only wear one nail polish colour for the rest of your life what would it be?
Probably Barry M, Mushroom.

5. What are your ambitions for the future?
I want to get married, have some kiddiewinks, become better at my job and own a house with a wrap around garden!

6. What is your favourite food?
I would have to say any type of Italian food, but especially a really god Spaghetti Bolognaise!

7. Share your favourite photo from Tumblr or We♥It

How cute?!

8. What was the last song you downloaded?
Build Me Up Buttercup - Foundations. The Mr & I are currently making a playlist for our friends wedding at the weekend and this is the Brides favourite song!

My 8 questions are...

1. What is your dream job?
2. What is your favourite item of clothing?
3. Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
4. Who is your celebrity crush?
5. If you could go on holiday anywhere in the world where would you go?
6. What made you start blogging?
7. If you had unlimited funds and could splurge on one item what would it be?
8. What never fails to make you smile?

Lady Bug Says ... Everyone Loves A Bargain!

Hello Ladies :)
Hope you have all had a good weekend! On Sunday it was my Mum's birthday, so me and my sister decided to take her to Clarks Village for a little bit of discount shopping!
I must say I was pretty impressed with the shops there, mainly Monsoon, Whistles and Next Clearance. Seeing as I am currently abit on the poor side I only bought a few bits from Next as I had a gift card.
Next isn't a place I always think of to look for clothes, but I was seriously impressed with the clothes, and even more impressed with the prices! I thought that as it was a clearance store it would be full of past season items, so was really surprised to find gorgeous nude dresses, embellished tops, gladiator sandals, military inspired pieces and amazing heels!
I walked out with £173 worth of clothes for £19! I am sure you will be seeing these new items in the coming weeks!
Here is my outfit from today.

Heels, Primark (gift from my sister), Trousers, Next Clearance £35 reduced to £3, Grey tshirt, H&M £4, Studded cardigan, Tesco £7, Necklace, Matalan £2

Outfit total - £16

I will leave you with a photo of my favourite flower (gladiola) that is currently growing in my garden :) I am very proud to have grown something so pretty!

Lady Bug Says ... Blueberry Muffins :)

Afternoon Ladies!
Now I don't know about you, but any sweet cakey item that can also be eaten at breakfast is good with me! So let me introduce you to my favourite breakfast treat(well apart from the Mr's pancakes) the Blueberry Muffin!

Here is the recipe I use to make 12 muffins

Ingredients

85g butter, melted then cooled

280g plain flour

1 tbsp baking powder

Pinch of salt

115g soft light brown sugar

150g blueberries

2 eggs

250ml milk

1tsp vanilla extract

Method

1- Preheat oven to 200 degrees C or Gas Mark 4.

2- Sift together flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Stir in sugar and blueberries.

3- Place eggs into separate bowl and beat, then beat in milk, butter and vanilla extract.

4- Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients and and the liquid ingredients. Stir until combined, do not over mix.

5- Spoon mix into muffin cases and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown and firm to touch.

Hello Lovelies!
I can't believe I have made it to my 100th post :) I am very gratefully for everyone that has read, commented and followed my blog! I am hoping to do a giveaway soon so keep your eyes peeled!
So onto the usual, an outfit of the day!

I love the nautical print and the nude colour!

I attempted a reverse french plait and it didn't go to bad considering how un-coordinated I am!
Today I decided to pop into the charity shops during my lunch break and picked up a few things :)

Cute swallow and blossom print top, Topshop via Charity shop £2

I'm a sucker for anything with a bird print on it! Really don't like actual birds though!

Floral maxi skirt, Warehouse via Charity Shop £3

Love the Cath Kidston style pattern, now 100% sure if this is a keeper yet though!

Evening ladies!
Just a quick blog post whilst I wait for Britain's Next Top Model to start. Anyone else eagerly awaiting the 'Makeover Episode'?! Is it slightly wrong to enjoy them all having their hair chopped off and crying alot?!
Here is an outfit from the weekend, which was largely spent doing housework!

Lady Bug Says ... Sunshine Yellow!

Afternoon ladies. Hope you have all had a nice weekend!
I am currently hiding out in the lounge, slightly worried by all the sawing/drilling/demolishing noises I can hear from our bathroom! The Mr is building a built in shelving unit and making lots of mess, though he has said some if the space can be used for shoes :)
Here is my outfit from Friday.
I keep rediscovering this yellow mini dress. I bought it in a H&M sale many years ago, and it sat unloved in my wardrobe for a good year before I eventually wore it! Now I cannot imagine it not being loved and worn frequently!!

Steve Madden boots, TK Maxx £35, Black leggings, H&M £7, Dress, H&M £10, Scarf, H&M £3

Outfit Total - £55

An outfit with no Primark items, that has to be a first for me!!

Thursday 1 July 2010

Lady Bug Says ... Nudey Shoes

Evening lovely blog readers! I am not impressed with the grey clouds and rain that have replaced the glorious sunshine!(Though the garden is getting watered for free!)
Thought I would show you my outfit for the day, looking out of the window this morning I decided I needed something OK for the rain, but cool enough for the humid heat, so here is what I came up with. Oh and I really wanted to wear my nude bow shoes :)

Nude shoes, Primark £10, Jeans, Primark £8, Mint vest, H&M £4, Floral vest, Primark £4, Blazer, Primark £13

Outfit total - £39

A few of you noticed my lighter hair in my last post. I had it re-highlighted and cut on Friday for the bargainous price of £25(thank goodness for home hairdressers!)

I have been trying to go for the caramel look that Miss Audrina Partridge has been rocking so well, have I achieved it!?

Taking close up pics of your head is difficult!!

On another note, I am thinking of maybe doing a blog sale(silly me forgot my car tax is due next month, stupid expensiveness!) would anyone be interested in this? Would be mainly clothes/shoes/jewellery.
