Evening Lovelies!
Hope you all had a great weekend. Sorry for the lack of posts, unfortunately life is very hectic at the moment! I am about a week behind on reading blog posts (so many to catch up on!) and loads that I want to write up. Hopefully things will calm down at work soon and I will have a bit more free time!
On Sunday I took part in the Pedal It Pink Half Marathon cycle ride. It was very difficult, but very rewarding! The event raised over £30k for Breast Cancer Campaign and I am very proud that I raised money and completed it! Thank you all for your thoughtful comments!
I thought today I would show you a few make up bits I have bought recently. Now I am by no means any kind of make up guru, but I do like to have a play around with it! So here is what I have been buying!
ELF Mineral Lipstick in Nicely Nude, £3.50
I really like this pinky nude colour, applied lightly it is perfect for a simple day look and layered up is a great, more intense pink.
Makeup Academy Eye shadows in Shade 3 & Shade 12, £1 each
These are them first items I have purchased from Makeup Academy and I must say I am impressed!
Love how shimmery these shadows are, am looking forward to trying out a smoky eye look with these - well once I have watched a few tutorials, I am rubbish at eye makeup!
ELF Shimmer Eye Liner in Boldly Bronzed, £1.50
This goes on so smoothly, no horrible dragging on your eye lids!
Sorry for the rubbish swatch, it is so sparkly. I am a sucker for anything vaguely shiny!
ELF Matte Finisher Top Coat, £1.50
ELF Matte Finisher Top Coat, £1.50
Am really loving matte nails and am happy to report it doesn't leave your nails feeling like a chalk board!
Hopefully I will be bombarding you with new posts soon!
P.S. Don't forget you only have 2 days left to enter my 100 followers giveaway!

I'm really bad at looking at cheaper make-up. I always go straight for expensive ones when perhaps I shouldn't. You have some lovely stuff there.
ReplyDeleteWell done on your cycle ride!

Those eye shadows look like my perfect choice of colour. I don’t own many single eye shadows, so it would be really nice to actually have something individual to throw in my bag, as opposed to a carrying a palette around x
ReplyDeleteOhh i have nicely nude, its lovely! :):)
ReplyDeleteAnd im thinking of getting the matte top coat, looks lovely! :) xx
Congrats on the half marathon! Well done on raising so much!
ReplyDeleteI love the lipstick, and I have shade2 of the MUA shadows. I wear it all the time, it's such a good eyeshadow! x
I really love the colors of those MUA eyeshadows, so pretty. I don't own any of their products but i'm tempted to check them out! xo
