Lady Bug Says ... Bristol Fashion Week Outfit

Evening lovelies, hope you are all having a fab Monday and enjoying the sunshine!

On Friday I was lucky enough to attend the bloggers event at Bristol Fashion Week. It was the first blogging event I have ever attended and I managed to get over my shyness and talk(probably a little too much!)to a few lovely ladies.

Today I am just going to show you what I wore, I will do a proper event post once I have received some official images as the majority of my photos didn't come out that brilliantly!

Lady Bug Says ... Hummingbirds Bringing In The Spring

Evening lovelies.

Hope you are all well. Tonight I thought I would show you today's outfit as it was actually light enough to take photos when I got home from work. I'm looking forward to the clocks going forward, fingers crossed it will signify more outfit posts :)

Rifiling through my wardrobe last night looking for outfit possibilities for Bristol Fashion Week I came across this dress, which to be honest I had kind of forgotten I owned! Seeing as the sun was shining beautifully this morning I thought the white summery dress deserved an airing!

Suede Flatform Shoes, H&M £20

Lady Bug Says ... Gluten Free Scones

Evening lovelies!

Anyone else get cravings for food that literally will not go away until you eat said food?! At the weekend I knew the only sweet treat I wanted was a good old Devon cream tea, so I took myself off to my go to recipe website, Good To Know Recipes, for a gluten free version.

They were so tasty and pretty quick to make, meaning they could be eaten even sooner!

You can find the recipe by clicking on the below link!

Lady Bug Says ... Aztec Nails

Evening lovelies!

Hope you have all had a good week, I have been doing my first aid re-qualification the past few days, forgot how knackering doing CPR on those plastic dummy's is!

I thought I would show you a little nail art that I am currently sporting, some pretty Aztec print on my ring fingers.

The base colour is a pretty coral pink polish that I received in my RAK swap parcel, MUA Shade 4. The taupe is my favourite Models Own 'Slate Grey' and the black patterns were done with the Models Own nail art pen. I used some french tip stickers that I bought from Ebay to do the taupe crescents at the nail bed and tip.

I was surprised how easy doing the little zig zags once, I certainly don't have a very steady hand but even when doing them with my left hand they turned out pretty well!

Lady Bug Says ... RAK Swap

Evening lovelies, hope you are all well!

I thought I would show you the lovely gifts I received in the Random Acts Of Kindness swap that Char from T*Rexes and Tiaras organised a little while ago. I was paired with Lucy from Tete en l'Air and these are the goodies that I was very lucky to receive :)

A big thank you to Char for organising the swap and to Lucy for sending me some lovely things! The sweets are now long gone but the nail varnish has become a firm favourite :)

Lady Bug Says ... A Little Neon

Evening lovelies!

Hope you have all had a great weekend. Mine has been full of yummy food, garden centres, movies, pancakes in bed, museums and lie ins. Overall a fairly good one :)

This is my outfit from Friday, I don't have to be especially smart for work, but occasionally it is nice to make a bit more of an effort. It is my little nod to the current neon trend, I don't think I am quite ready yet to dip my toes any further into the highlighter toned pool!

Faux leather panel skirt, H&M £20, Sheer tights, Primark £1, Yellow dress worn as top, H&M £10, Steve Madden boots, TK Maxx £35

Necklace, Accessorize 50p!

Oufit total - £66.50

This skirt is a recent purchase, I fell for the faux leather panels with the more practical and comfortable stretchy side panels.
