Today I woke up and felt beyond ill. So ill that the thought of having to put my contacts in turned my stomach! Hence the glasses. Some people really suit glasses, I just don't think I am one of those people!

Lady Bug Says ... Checkered Girl

Is it a sign that you have too many clothes when you forget you own things! Well this dress had fallen into that forgotten category, and I'm not to sure why as I really do love it!

I find that I can never truly love an item unless it is a bargain/on sale. And with this dress coming in at £10 I think that counts as a bargain!

Now I have rediscovered it I can imagine wearing it bare legged(when the weather gets a bit warmer) with shoe boots.

I'm sorry, sorry sorry! I have been the worst blogger ever recently! I can't seem to find the time to blog, but I really enjoy it, so I am definitely going to make the time!

Lady Bug Says ... Sparkling Things!

Some of you may remember this top from my little wish list a while ago. Well when I saw it in Matalan reduced to £3 at the weekend I couldn't resist it.

A few people have commented on my poses (blush) Thank you for your kind comments. I usually take my photos before rushing out of the door in the morning, I think I need to actually start getting up earlier so I don't have to rush quite so much!

As its getting warmer I would like to start taking some pictures outside, though seeing as I live pretty much on a building site not to sure if I am comfortable posing in front of high vis clad men first thing in the morning!

Lady Bug Says ... Spring With A Chill

Spring is definitely in the air, the mornings are lighter, the sun is shining and the birds are singing. But there is still a definite chill in the air!

I always find this time of year very challenging wardrobe wise. Having to still be practical and wear a cardigan(or even a coat) yet not wanting to get to hot under the collar when the sun is beating down on you!

I am not quite brave enough to go bare sleeved or legged just yet! So a warm knitted dress and lighter sleeves were in order today.

Lady Bug Says ... A Flash Of Florals

When I first saw this colourful silk scarf peaking out between ominously stained doily's and questionable polyester imitations in my local charity shop I knew I had to have it. The colourful florals and vivid colours just couldn't be ignored!
