Lady Bug Says ... Summer Wish List!

Evening Ladies!

I have been a little bit slack on the blogging front so far this year, but I am hoping to put a stop to that! I have a massive list of posts to do and lots of DIY's, yummy baking recipes and hopefully more day to day things to share with you all!

So I should be around a lot more, and please let me know if there is anything you would like to see more of on my blog! I'd love to know what kind of posts you most like to read :)

Now lets get the new motivated blogging ball rolling! I haven't done one of these wish list type posts for a while, but the sunny weather and the looming 'wedding season' (not my own!) has got me longing for pretty dresses and more!

I seem to largely be craving more formal style floral dresses and lots of pale rust/nude colours! But I like to think that I am lusting after items that can we worn throughout other seasons too, I do have some practicality about me(despite what the Mr might think!) I think I might need to whack out the credit card if I want everything though! :S

Lady Bug Says ... A Little Catch Up!

Afternoon ladies!

Sorry its been such a long time since my last post, life has been abit hectic but today is the first day of 11 off work for me :) I have a massive list of things I want/need to do during my time off. But my first day has been spent sleeping off drinks from last night and generally relaxing!

I thought I would do a little bit of a catch up post as I don't really have an outfit to show you all!

I finally got my hands on the Models Own/WAH Nails nail art pen and it is fab!

I bought it with my ASOS/Groupon voucher and ASOS were doing a fab deal where you could purchase the nail art pen and a spring nail polish for £8, bargain :)

Of course as soon as it arrived I had to try it out! Base colour, Models Own Baby Blues, Dots/Leopard Print in Models Own nail art pen and Barry M Mushroom.

The ring was also an ASOS/Groupon purchase for £8.

After spotting this cute elephant snack box on Laura's blog I knew I had to purchase it. I love elephants plus I need all the help I can get eating healthy snacks whilst at work!


So here is my Graze style healthy snack box for work complete with grapes, yoghurt coated raisins, cheese thin biscuits and dried fruit! Pretty healthy for me!!

I made loads of Easter cakes for work yesterday, my first attempt at using a piping bag didn't come out too bad! But I think I need a larger star shaped piping nozzle. They were pretty yummy and none were left at the end of the day so I think they went down well!

I purchased some gorgeous vintage fabric from Lucy Loves Fabric :) It arrived within a few days and was even prettier than the images on the website. I am ambitiously hoping to make a 50's style shift dress with the floral fabric and a tote style bag with the cute lady bug print one! Fingers crossed it all goes to plan!

Lady Bug Says ... Spring Garden Update

Evening Lovelies!

Hope you all enjoyed the sunshine this weekend! A few people have said they would be interested in seeing a Spring garden post, see here it is!

Since getting my own house 18 months ago and being presented with a big patch of mud for a garden my interest in growing things has gone from non-existent to very green fingered!

I am still very much a 'stick it in the ground and hope for the best' kind of gardener, but it seems to be working! I don't really know the names of alot of things, so if you do know what any of the plants are in the photos please let me know!

Lady Bug Says ... A 70's Summer!

Evening Ladies!

Hope you have all been making the most of today's sunshine! For me it was definitely the day for the flares, wedges and sunglasses to make an appearance!

I finally managed to get my hands on my perfect summer wedges thanks to the lovely people behind Matalan's twitter account :) They were able to find out that these amazing shoes would not be making an appearance in my local store and exchanged the voucher they had very generously supplied me with for an online voucher! They get a big thumbs up for amazing customer service and fab blogger interaction from me :)

Now apologies for the not so great photos, I think I must have left my camera on in my bag today as when I got home I managed to solely take these 3 photos before it promptly died. I think it may be on its way out as it seems to take forever to charge the battery to only half full :S

How pretty are they?! I love how they make me tall as well, think it scares the Mr me being nearly eye to eye with him!!
