Lady Bug Says ... Slouchy Cool

Good Evening Lovelies.

Last day of my shoe challenge :) (Well it was supposed to end on Sunday but I will be wearing slippers all weekend doing housey things, so not exciting!)

Decided to end on a good note, possibly my favourite boots :) Thrifted(stolen) from my Mothers wardrobe, she hadn't worn them in years so I figured I might as well make use of them! Must get them re-heeled though!

Today I wore(please excuse my skin! Had to take a photo after work and my makeup just doesn't seem to last the whole day! Any ideas?!)

Grey ribbed tights, Primark £2, Black jersey skirt, H&M £3, Grey tshirt, H&M £4, Nude tshirt, Primark £5, Grey cardigan, H&M £7, Cameo necklace, Elsie Belle, blog giveaway win, Vintage boots, Thrifted £free
Outfit total - £21

Here is a close up of the necklace, I must say I do love it a lot!

I ordered a few things from the Urban Outfitters sale and they arrived today :)

I got this eye palette for £3.99 - seeing as I can't afford the Urban Decay Alice palette, I thought I would treat myself to a cheaper version!

Also got these earrings for £2.99

Lady Bug Says ... Disney Girl

You have to love a bit of Disney. I mean what girl didn't wish she was Belle/Snow White/Cinderella/Sleeping Beauty? Or even settling for being their friend!
I definitely liked Snow White the most, she had 7 dwarfs for friends, lots of woodland creatures for company and defeats the evil witch!
Today I decided to step out in these leather cowboy style boots.

I wore

Skinny jeans, Primark £8, Red long sleeved top, Primark £4, Snow White tshirt, Zara £12, Black cardigan, Primark £8, Brown boots, TK Maxx £30

Outfit total - £62

Who is your favourite Disney character?

Lady Bug Says ... Matchy Matchy?

Evening All.
I have been a bit absent lately, other areas of my life seem to have taken over and I haven't had a whole lot of time for blogging, which is a shame as I really enjoy doing it! But I'm back! And will be reading all the blogs I have missed, have a feeling I will have a lot to catch up on!
I am in the last week of my shoe challenge, and have been saving some of my favourites for the end! Today I have gone for my leather 'riding' boots. Definitely a perfect choice for the rainy weather!

So today I wore

Black tshirt, H&M £4, Black and blue dress, T & Cakes via TK Maxx £10, Grey boyfriend cardigan, H&M £15, Turquoise tights, Tesco £2, Black riding boots, New Look £30

Outfit total - £61

I'm not to sure if the tights with the dress is too matchy matchy, think I need to have a look through the wardrobe and see what else I could pair them with!

Lady Bug Says ... Thank Goodness It's The Weekend!

This week has just been one of those weeks. Being ill, feeling blue, horrible weather and general crappyness don't lend themselves well to blog worthy outfits. Hence the lack of posting!
So here goes...
The shoe challenge end is in sight! I am kind of looking forward to it, as it hasn't always been practical to wear heels/pumps etc in this weather. But I am hoping that I will actually consider my shoe options a little more rather than going for the trusty favourites!
On Wednesday I went for these brown 50's style courts. They are a little too big, but ok for when I know I'm going to be sat down all day!

I wore them with:

Skinny jeans, Primark £8, Black tshirt, H&M £4, Turquoise long sleeved tshirt, H&M £6, Turquoise and brown kaftan, Primark £5, Grey boyfriend cardigan, H&M £15, Brown courts, Some little shoe shop in Edinburgh £10
Outfit total - £48

Thursday I was struck down with a nice case of food poisoning, so my outfit was really not blogable!
Today I wore possibly my favourite pair of pumps. I have had them for years and they are beyond comfortable!

I wore

Skinny jeans, Primark £8, Black tshirt, H&M £4, Cotton gypsy top, Primark £5, Black boyfriend cardigan, Primark £10, Waist belt, Charity Shop, £1, Black pumps, New Look £5

Outfit total - £33

Thought I would give you a peek of what prizes I chose after winning a giveaway that Jen @ A Little Bird Told Me ran. Big thank you to Jen and Liz at Elsie Belle

Lady Bug Says ... Dressing For The Weather

I always seem to find that the weather has some influence on what I wear day to day. How I would love to be able to pick an outfit without having to look out of the window first!
The past few days Mr Weatherman has graced us with 'Cloudy skies with scattered showers' i.e. bloody miserable!
So Mondays outfit consisted of some booties that I really wanted to wear for my shoe challenge. I have had these for years but have been really unsure how to wear them, the outfit I choose was definitely more out of warmth than style, so no fashion awards will be won for this one!

I wore

Skinny jeans, Primark £8, White long sleeved tshirt, H&M £5, Black tshirt, H&M £3, Grey knitted cardigan, H&M kids, £10, Knotted necklace, Matalan £3, checked boots, Primark £8
Outfit total - £37

My hair was really no co-operating that morning so attempted a French plaitesque thing! Worked quite well, think if I had more time I would have made it a little more casual and looser.

Today I knew the only thing that would keep my feet even vaguely warm at work was my ugg style boots. Again a bit of warmth over style!

I wore

Black leggings, H&M £7, Black long sleeved top, Primark £3, Leopard print tshirt, H&M £7, Grey boyfriend cardigan, H&M £15, White plaited belt, Primark £2, Heart pendant necklace, Gift from the Mr.
Do you find yourself frequently having your outfits dictated by the weather?

Lady Bug Says ... Happy Lazy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day everyone. Hope everyone has had a good day.
The Mr and myself decided that we would just have a nice chilled out day. So we have watched some films in bed, eaten lots of pancakes and exchanged a few small gifts. Currently he is playing COD and I am browsing the net and trying to decide what to order from the Indian for our dinner tonight!
Having taken holidays for Valentines for the past few years, and as our financial situation has very much changed we decided to set ourselves a little budget this year of £27.50.
So here are the lovely things I received

As today is a official lazy not going out day I won't do a picture of my face without make up!
So today I am wearing

Black leggings, H&M £7, Heart print slippers, Peacocks £5, Black tshirt, H&M £5, Sheer dress, Primark £5, Cardigan, Primark £6

Outfit total - £28

Hope you are all having a lovely Sunday :)

Lady Bug Says ... More Casuals!

People are probably getting bored of me complaining about winter now! But I truly can't wait for spring and being able to feel my feet again! Well at least the end of the week is here :)
Today, day 12 of the shoe challenge, I decided on these simple white pumps. Think my feet wished I had worn something a little warmer though!

I wore

Skinny jeans, Primark £8, Black vest, H&M £3, Nude camisole, David Bitton via TK Maxx £8, Grey cardigan, H&M £15, Broach, Charity shop £3, Pumps, Primark £3

Outfit total - £40

This broach has become one of my favourite charity shop finds, and it dresses up my simple outfit just a little!

Lady Bug Says ... Holiday Reminiscing

Despite February being a very short month this year, it doesn't half seem to be dragging on! When its cold outside I find myself thinking of holidays past and future.
So seeing as my outfit today was not at all blog worthy(I stayed home all day and did housework etc) and I didn't wear any shoes apart from slippers, I thought I would share some old holiday snaps with you all.
